Edijs Tanons

Edijs has more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology business management both in Baltics and internationally. As a long-time IBM manager and board member of the Latvian Open Technology Association, he has been driving innovation projects and initiatives in Latvia. Now he is leading innovation projects in “Datakom” where one of the most visible is  “Tiki-Taka PAY”(www.tikitaka.lv) – an all-in-one compact payment device that is also a registered cash register under Latvian law. In his talk, he will show his way from 0 to fully working device & software that is now broadly used in flights, trains and retail.
